Here it is... the location for FASHION magazine's editorial titled "La Vie Boheme" photographed at The Parker in Palm Springs. I just love the eclectic and bohemian character of the estate, don't you?

La vie Bohemian

Summer to me means travel, good food and exotic colours and flavours all around me. Summer to me is FASHION magazines' March 2008 editorial titled "La Vie Boheme" photographed at the Parker hotel in Palm Springs and featuring Canadian model Tasha Tilberg. I wish I could own every piece of unique jewellery and all the bohemian and Moroccan inspired wardrobe that is featured!

I hit up the new Lowe's that recently opened in my neighbourhood and look what I found...sample pictures and chips of Martha Stewart paint colours. It's really too bad that I don't have anything to paint!

In Bloom

I started most of my planting early this spring and now I get to sit back and reap the benefits of my lovely blooming garden and planters while Jenny joined me!

In the details

I have been hired by my sister to re-do her room. We live together and she feels that she needs a little revamp to the old boudoir. It's pretty nice now, but it's still missing artwork, shelves and decor. Soon enough I'll turn this little Tiffany's box into a gem.


Here are just some of the things I plan to do:

1. reupholster the green chair in a light beige linen and add nail heads

2. paint the elephant lamp base (a light colour) and get a new slightly larger lamp shade with piping

3. add silver picture frames

4. A new antique mirror above the dresser

5.Change the hardware on the dresser

6. Possibly a lighter area rug colour

7. Add a lamp and some shelves in the reading/chair nook

8. Paint the metal stool base a light beige or white

9. And finally accessorize with art, pillows, decor!
