Natural scenes

do i have to explain?:

I KNOW, I KNOW...i must grow up. i stayed up all night practically watching the hills recap marathon....my husband rolled over in the middle of the night and saw my eyes open; then looked at the clock- it said 1:30...
i couldn't get out of the bed to get my daughter this AM...instead i put a pillow over my head.
please excuse the lack of luster from this post: i like pink...i heart that freakin chair...now i'm going to drink my coffee...black.

Animal wallpaper

one down...

twenty nine more to go....
i would love for this image to magically appear in my kitchen. i have one old locker basket and from the looks of it, i just need 29 more to complete this look!! i love everything pictured here...the industrial blue shelving, the metal baskets, the school house lights, and the word 'grocery' written above just sums up the whole experience.

twinkle lights....

there's something magical about twinkle lights; it's like those tiny little lights bring instant comfort to a room. they seem as if they are begging you to stay in bed...especially on a day like this- dark and rainy.

mod green pod

i first became aware of this organic fabric and wallpaper company when i was searching for fabric for my daughter's nursery two years ago...mod green pod had just been featured in domino. i was stressing out about what fabric to use in her room....so i did what i thought was best, let my husband decide (well kind of- i had narrowed it down to three winners)! he selected butterfly jubilee. mod green pod was such a sweet company to work with...when i called to order the fabric i spoke directly with one of the creators who was excited to hear that i had found them from the recent mag article.
i recently found them again when browsing a website spruce....they now have a blog. i checked out their website and was so excited to see how much press they have gotten over the years. so congrats girls! organic fabric is definitely on the rise thanks to these girls and of course another fav of mine rubie green (have you seen michelle's new bedding line...to die for)!

"red" all over....

generally red is not a color that i gravitate to when decorating my own home but these images are an exception! that first picture w/ the adorable mother and daughter has me smitten and i cannot get enough of those insanely beautiful chevron floors in that reading room!
